The structure’s strong gable forms are reminiscent of Scandinavian farmhouses and define outdoor space while relating to the renovated guesthouse. Intended to embrace its waterfront site, the home is designed for aging in place, high-performance energy targets, and the use and enjoyment of a large extended family.
